Welcome to Mali. By visiting our website at mali.nz or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully — if you have any questions, reach out anytime at **hello@mali.nz**.

## About Mali

Mali is a New Zealand-based online store operated by Don Yoo and Kaysey, based in Auckland, New Zealand. We sell lovingly curated, handcrafted goods sourced from artisans around the world, starting with Sri Lanka.

## Using our website

You agree to use our website in good faith and for lawful purposes only. You may not:

- Use our site in any way that damages, disables, or impairs it
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or our systems
- Use our content, images, or branding without our written permission
- Misrepresent yourself or your intentions when placing orders

## Product information and pricing

We do our best to make sure product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate. However:

- Colours may appear slightly different on different screens
- Slight variations in handmade products are normal and expected
- Prices are displayed in **New Zealand Dollars (NZD)** and include GST where applicable
- We reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing or product information

If we discover an error after you've placed an order, we'll contact you as soon as possible to resolve it.

## Orders and payment

When you place an order:

- You're making an offer to purchase the products at the listed price
- We reserve the right to accept or decline your order
- Payment is taken at the time of checkout through our secure payment provider
- You're responsible for providing accurate shipping and contact information

If we can't fulfil your order for any reason (e.g. stock availability, incorrect pricing), we'll refund you in full as quickly as possible.

- We ship within New Zealand only
- Shipping to the North Island is $7.50 NZD, South Island is $12.50 NZD; free shipping on orders over $100 NZD
- Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days
- Delivery takes 3–7 business days depending on location

## Returns and refunds

- Contact us within 48 hours if something arrives damaged or incorrect
- Change-of-mind returns are handled case-by-case
- Natural variations in handmade products are not considered faults

## Intellectual property

All content on mali.nz — including logos, product photography, brand name, text, and design — is owned by Mali or our partners and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any of our content without our written permission.

## Limitation of liability

We do our best to make sure mali.nz runs smoothly and our products are of the highest quality. However, to the extent permitted by New Zealand law, Mali is not liable for:

- Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
- Loss of profit, data, or business opportunities
- Any events outside our reasonable control (e.g. natural disasters, carrier delays)

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the **Consumer Guarantees Act 1993** or the **Fair Trading Act 1986** as a consumer in New Zealand.

## Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of our site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
